All Super Bowl Team members please be sure to turn in your shirts and books to Mr. Pickrell.

STUDENTS: Please return all books to the media center.

SENIORS: please pick up your senior video early childhood pictures in the media center.

Track team members who are no longer participating in meets should turn their uniforms in to Coach Brenton.

Girls playing soccer next year need to stop by Coach Cox’s room and pick up a new summer open field schedule.

Wrestlers: Camp forms are due to Coach Alcorn or Coach Stevens by Friday.

It's time to purchase your 2015 yearbooks. The early bird special week is September 29-October 3rd. This week only you can purchase your yearbook for $50. After that the price goes up in $5 increments. You can purchase online at and use school number 17198 or bring a check made payable to MVHS to Mrs. Thomas in A214. Yearbook order forms were sent through the mail, or you can pick one up in the office.

The Youth First "Most of Us" campaign is a research-based campaign to reduce teen alcohol and substance abuse among high school students by correcting misperceptions and promoting positive social norms.

Snow Day Make-Up Plan

Starting Monday, March 30, all schools will begin their day at 7:55 am. Bus routes in the morning will run 10 minutes earlier than normal.

The end of the school day will be lengthened by 10 minutes. All elementary schools will be dismissed at 2:55 pm, the junior high will be dismissed at 3:05 pm, and the high school will be dismissed at 3:15 P.M. (The other ten minutes are adjustments made throughout the school day to equal 30 minutes total.)

This change will continue throughout the rest of this school year. By making this minor adjustment, the last day of school for all students will be Friday, May 22. The last day for staff members will be Tuesday, May 26.

Graduation date has NOT changed and is planned for Friday night at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22. By making this adjustment, NO STUDENT will have to make up days after Memorial Day.
