The SADD club is sponsoring a Clean Up Day on April 19th from 8:30 to noon in honor of Earth Day. The first 50 students that attend will receive a BRIGHT orange t-shirt of the event. Students are to meet at the football parking lot between 8:00-8:30 to receive materials and their t-shirt. A sign up sheet is in the main office.
Sign up sheets for this year's AAG are available in the main office. Forms are due Thursday. The form includes parental permission that must be signed to compete and a list of events. The 2014 Almost Anything Goes will be on Thursday, April 24th. GAME ON!
The state project for student council this year is “Choose Kind.” Teachers received bracelets that say “Choose Kind” to give to students they see doing something kind. If that student sees someone (a peer) doing a kind deed they are to give up their bracelet to that person. The project will continue until the end of the school year. Let’s show our appreciation of kind acts and pass them. Choose Kindness cards are available in the main office. Students or teachers that see a kind act being done can pick up a card, fill it out, and place it in the drop box in the office. Cards will be reviewed and forwarded to the student showing kindness.
Full cast rehearsal for “The Fantasticks” will be tomorrow from 3:30 – 5:30.
It's National Library Week: Come in and check out a book from the Media Center this Thursday and Friday and your name will go into a drawing for a Barnes and Noble Gift Certificate of $25.00 to be given out on both days. All students and teachers can register! Bring your classes anytime. No advance notice needed!
