MVHS will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, October 23rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To give the “Gift of Life” you must be 17 and weigh at least 110 lbs. You can donate at 16 with a signed parent permission form. Please sign up in the counseling office.
If you are interested in the non-school sponsored trip to London, Paris and Madrid please see Mrs. Basham in A203 for information as soon as possible.
It’s time to purchase your 2015 yearbook. This week you can purchase your yearbook for $55. The price will increase $5 after 1/1/15. You can purchase online, or pick up an order form in the main office.
There will be a Winter Formal/Prom dress consignment sale at MVHS on November 15 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00p.m. For those who have dresses they would like to sell, the drop off will be Friday, October 24 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Dress sellers should pick up a contract. Contracts will be available starting Monday in the main office. Look for flyers in the hallways for more details.
Money from Key Club members who are selling Easter Seals Halloween Coupon Booklets will be collected between 7:30-8:00 a.m. each day this week. Please bring your money to Mrs. Steinhart’s room, C123. The deadline to turn you money in is Friday.
Student Council members: Please remember to bring canned food items to Mrs. McCloud’s room.
Key Club members who would like to purchase a t-shirt should return a completed form to Mrs. Steinhart or Cheyenne Schmuck no later than October 31. The cost is $8 and no money will be accepted after this date.

It's time to purchase your 2015 yearbooks. The early bird special week is September 29-October 3rd. This week only you can purchase your yearbook for $50. After that the price goes up in $5 increments. You can purchase online at yearbookordercenter.com and use school number 17198 or bring a check made payable to MVHS to Mrs. Thomas in A214. Yearbook order forms were sent through the mail, or you can pick one up in the office.

Picture retake day is Thursday. You must return your original picture packet to have your picture taken again.
Any senior not registered to vote who wishes to vote in the November 4 election should see Mr. Alcorn before the end of the day on Friday.
Seniors: Vote for class flowers, ribbon, motto and graduation announcements on Wednesday, October 8th in the school store.
