There will be a Winter Formal/Prom dress consignment sale at MVHS on November 15 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00p.m.

Art Guild Members: $15 dues need to be paid today to Mrs. Glaser in F104. Late dues will not get a club t-shirt

Student Council members: Please remember to bring canned food items to Mrs. McCloud’s room.

Thespian Club Members: Your $5 dues are due to Mrs. Young by the next meeting date, November 12. If you have t-shirt designs they will need to be submitted at this time. We will vote on and order t-shirts at the next meeting.

Key Club members who would like to purchase a t-shirt should return a completed form to Mrs. Steinhart or Cheyenne Schmuck no later than today. The cost is $8 and no money will be accepted after this date.

Seniors: Please bring in any college acceptance letters you receive to the counseling office so you can be recognized on the College Ready Wall in the gym’s foyer.

Crew members for Dracula should see Mr. Taylor today about ordering a show t-shirt.

The theme for the football game toight will be Halloween. Ticket will be $6 and passes will not admit you to the game.

Any male interested in wrestling: Official practice starts next week. Bring running shoes and wrestling shoes. If you have questions please see Coach Alcorn or Coach Stevens

It's time to purchase your 2015 yearbooks. The early bird special week is September 29-October 3rd. This week only you can purchase your yearbook for $50. After that the price goes up in $5 increments. You can purchase online at and use school number 17198 or bring a check made payable to MVHS to Mrs. Thomas in A214. Yearbook order forms were sent through the mail, or you can pick one up in the office.

Picture retake day is Thursday. You must return your original picture packet to have your picture taken again.

Any senior not registered to vote who wishes to vote in the November 4 election should see Mr. Alcorn before the end of the day on Friday.

Seniors: Vote for class flowers, ribbon, motto and graduation announcements on Wednesday, October 8th in the school store.

The Youth First "Most of Us" campaign is a research-based campaign to reduce teen alcohol and substance abuse among high school students by correcting misperceptions and promoting positive social norms.
