  • The MVHS Marching Wildcats will compete at North Posey on Saturday, September 20, at 5:30 pm.

Gray Day

Buffalo Wild Wings West Evansville location will be hosting a fundraiser for Mt. Vernon Athletics on September 29. 10% of the day’s sales will be donated to MVHS. To participate just mention MV at checkout.

Decorating for homecoming will take place on Thursday after school. All decorating must be finished by 5:00 p.m. A class sponsor must be present with students. If you have questions please see Katie Tucker or Miss Edwards.

Powder Puff football sign-ups will be today through Thursday in Mrs. Walter’s room, C108. The game will be played during the homecoming pep session.

Mt. Vernon will be hosting the ACT on October 25. The registration deadline is September 19.

It’s time to purchase your 2015 yearbook. The early bird special week is September 29 – October 3. During this week only you can purchase your yearbook for $50. After that time the price will increase in $5 increments. You can purchase online, or bring a check made payable to MVHS to Mrs.Thomas in A214. Yearbook order forms were sent through the mail last week. Order forms are also available in the main office.

The Youth First "Most of Us" campaign is a research-based campaign to reduce teen alcohol and substance abuse among high school students by correcting misperceptions and promoting positive social norms.
