Maroon Day

SENIORS: Posey Community Foundation Alliance scholarships are now available on their website. The application deadline is February 10.

Applications for local scholarships are now available in the counseling office. Others will be available soon with most having an April 3 application deadline. Please refer to your counseling newsletter to check eligibility requirements.

All students interested in participating Unified Track and Field should plan to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, January 26 at 7:40 a.m. in room C117. Please see Mrs. Latshaw if you cannot attend.

There will be a 21st Century Scholars' meeting in room A106 tomorrow. You will receive a pass if you should be there. See Ms. Walker with questions.

There will be a booster club meeting on Friday at 7:40 a.m. in room B107.

A homecoming banner meeting will be held on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in Room B107 for class sponsors and officers.

MVHS Student Athletic Council is excited to invite you to the 2 nd Annual Winter Homecoming Festival. MVHS takes on the Wildcats of Mater Dei on February 10 th . Festival activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All clubs and organizations are welcome to bring a booth. Please RSVP to the Athletic Office to reserve your group’s involvement.

The initial round of basketball homecoming court elections will take place tomorrow. A link to the ballot will be emailed at 8:00 am. Voting will end at 3:15 tomorrow afternoon.

There will be a fan bus to Gibson Southern this Friday leaving the circle drive at 4:15 p.m. The cost is $5 and will cover your ticket. Please sing mu in the athletic office.

Yearbook

Yearbooks can be ordered online at https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/  using school order number 17198, or by check made payable to Mt. Vernon Senior High School, Attention Yearbook. The cost is $60.  Senior ads are due by April 10.

 

2017-18 Course Enrollment

On Tuesday, January 17, students will receive course enrollment information for the 2017-18 school year.  Students will begin meeting with counselors in the upcoming weeks.
