    Thursday, November 21
    Maroon Day

    Football players, end of season banquet reservations are due tomorrow. Please turn them in ASAP so we can get a headcount for food. High school players and coaches are free, family members are $12.00 each. You may turn reservations in to Coach Brunson or mail them to MV POPS, PO Box 159, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.

    2019-20 yearbooks are on sale now. They can be purchased on line at the yearbook order center or through Mrs. Thomas. The cost for the book is $50 through December and will increase to $60 at the first of the year. Order your yearbook today.

    Select juniors will receive passes during reading period on December 5 to meet with the Posey County Community Foundation about requirements and application processes for the Lilly Endowment Scholarship.

    Seniors will meet with the Posey County Community Foundation during reading period in the PAC on Monday, December 2 to hear about upcoming scholarships.

    Donations for the hygiene drive are being accepted and given to the Wildcat Warehouse. This is a class competition and will end Friday. Following are donation requests by class:

    • Seniors – deodorant
    • Juniors – toothpaste
    • Sophomores – body wash
    • Freshmen – 2-1 shampoo
    • Faculty & Staff – hats and gloves.

    A representative of PJ’s College of Cosmetology will be in the Media center during reading period on November 25. Please sign up in the counseling office if you would like to meet with them.

    Today's Activities:

    • Winter Guard Tryouts – 3:30 p.m.
    • Wrestling – MV Scrimmage – 6:00p.m.
    • Fall Play – Can I Tell You a Secret? - 7:00 p.m.

    Tomorrow's Activities:

    • Girls JV/Varsity Basketball at North Posey – 6:00 p.m.
    • Fall Play – Can I Tell You a Secret? - 7:00 p.m.

    November 18 - 22 Menu:

    • Monday: Spicy Chicken Sandwich
    • Tuesday: Chicken Tenders
    • Wednesday: Stuffed Baked Potato
    • Thursday: Turkey & Gravy
