    Welcome to my Page!
    Personal Financial Responsibility focuses on personal financial planning as well as the identification and management of personal finance resources to meet the financial needs and wants of individuals and families. This course will aid students in building skills in decision making, goal setting, identifying sources of income, saving and investing, budgeting, banking services, income tax return prep, credit management, consumer protection laws, insurance, buying vs. renting a house, and buying vs. leasing a car. Instructional strategies include iPad use, guest speakers, online simulations, internet research, and field trips.

    Seniors/Parents: FAFSA deadline is March 10!

    College Goal Sunday, Feb 23 @ Ivy Tech (FAFSA completion help)

    Classes this week are working thru Federal and State Tax Returns: 1040EZ, 1040A, 1040, IT-40EZ. Additionally, students will be introduced to "efiling" their tax returns.

    **A side note. Students have been encouraged to begin investing money thru a Roth IRA. They understand their contributions grow tax free as well as the withdrawals after age 591/2 are tax free!

    Everyone 18 and younger eat for free without providing any individual eligibility information at all open sites. On or after June 1, all Indiana sites approved to serve meals can be found:
