    Maroon Day

    The Posey Humane Society is looking for volunteers. Please contact the shelter at 812-838-3211 if you are interested.

    Information on the Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarships is available in the Counseling Office and online at enf.elks.org/mvs. The application deadline is November 27.

    The registration deadline for the October 28 ACT which will be given at MVHS is tomorrow.

    The Student Athletic Council is selling spotlight shirts. An e-mail has been sent to all students to fill out an order if they would like to purchase one. The cost is $10 and must be paid to the athletic office by tomorrow. If you purchase a shirt it will allow you to attend the weekly spotlight game for free for the remainder of the year.

    Spanish II is working on a passion project! We are raising money and awareness for the Lucky Fin Project by selling t-shirts specific to the Lucky Fin Project. They hope to raise awareness for all people with upper limb differences, as well as raise funds to financially support efforts for children to attend specialized camps, obtain prosthetics, and to fund other organizations within the limb different community. Bracelets, lanyards, and other treats will be sold at their homecoming booth, but if you would like to preorder a t-shirt to help them change lives, please fill out the Google Forms sheet Emma Yarber has sent out via email with your name and size, and deliver your money to Ms. Burns's classroom in A209. Short sleeve shirts will be available for preorder from now until tomorrow for $12, and long sleeve shirts will also be available for $15.

    Auditions for the fall play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be held on Monday, September 25, and Tuesday, September 26, in the PAC. For more information see the bulletin board in the choir hallway.

    Picture retake day will be Thursday, September 28.

    Club sign-up sheets have been e-mailed to students. Forms must be completed and submitted by the end of the day tomorrow. Information about clubs available and the requirements for each should be posted in each classroom.

    There will be a fan bus to the football game at Boonville tomorrow. The cost is $5 and includes your ticket. Please sign up in the athletic office. The bus will leave from the circle drive at 5:00 p.m.

    RAFFLE ANNOUNCEMENT: Reminder for all student athletes to keep selling those raffle tickets!! Turn money and ticket stubs in to your coach to get a receipt, then stop by the athletic office to get more tickets to sell!!

    Letter Jacket Day Wednesday, September 27. Our Awards America representative will be on hand Wednesday, September 27 from 11:30 to 1:00 in the Cafeteria Foyer to assist students with the purchase of a letter jacket. Parents are welcome to visit and participate in the purchase process. Be sure to bring any items you wish to have sewn on, such as your varsity letter and any patches. The traditional letter jacket with genuine leather sleeves is priced at just $155. Imitation leather sleeves are available for only $109. Additional charges apply for other customization, as well as a $10 shipping fee per jacket.

    Greater Evansville College Fair

      When: Sunday, Oct 1, 1:30 - 3:00 Where: University of Southern Indiana Physical Activities Center

      This is a great opportunity to learn more about college admission requirements, testing procedures, cost, financial aid, NCAA, and courses of study. Over sixty colleges, universities, special schools, and military organizations will be represented.

      The fair is open to all high school students from southern Indiana and their parents. There is no charge for this event.

      This year, students can register at http://gotocollegefairs.com/ and provide their basic information and interests. This process will generate a personalized barcode that students print out or display on their phone and bring to the fair. This will eliminate the need to fill out information cards at every table.
